Great, well-researched book. Tons of incredible drawings and models I’ve never seen before
Initial impression on first holding the book is great due to the texture of the cover. It is a superb and compelling read, and it was facinating reading the design process for models I have owned going back to the E30 and every 3 and 4 series since. It brings you right up to date covering current amd planned EV's. Very well written and superbly illustrate. Highly recommended. My only problem is do I now get the three book set!
Wow!! What can I say, Just a absolute gem of a book. Has easily become my all time favourite book in my vast collection Beautifully presented , Amazing content, Lavish images, Well written and researched. A must for any BMW fan.

An excellent work and highly recommended. I’m involved with an investment firm with a long-term holding in BMW and ongoing research is part of the job. Having done a lot of reading on BMW over the years, Mr Saxty’s book is up there with the very best. Long overdue book about BMW Design. Having been a car designer and for over 50+ years, I've amassed a large collection of automotive design books. Finally, this book addresses the rich design history of the storied BMW brand.
Rich with photos of clay models and development sketches, it traces the history of design through the design leaders over the years.
If you have any interest in design or BMW, or both, this is a 'must add' to your collection. Besides, it's very cool and well presented.
